Picture Day - Tuesday, August 13. Pre-order your photos online. Go to the Caryn website to view and order picture packages. Caryn School Code for ordering is G670. Photos can also be ordered by paying cash or check and sending it in with the order form sent home with your student on picture day.
Caryn Spirit Wear- Order your Caryn Spirit Wear by August 21. New t-shirt designs have been added. T-shirts now come in black, gray, or purple. Sweatshirts available in black or gray. Place your order online at https://www.my-school-store.com/ or there is a link to order spirit wear on the Caryn website. Order forms could be turned into the Caryn office if you prefer to pay with cash or check. Don't forget to order your sweatshirts with this order. We will not be placing another other until mid January.
Class Postings - Online after 4 PM. Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten - July 31. Kindergarten to 5th grade - August 1. Data confirmation for all students must be complete to view your student's teacher. Online posting link Etiwanda.org/classes/
Kindergarten Orientation - Monday, August 5 @ 8:40 AM. Drop your student off at their classroom by 8:10 AM, and then join us in the Caryn Multi-Purpose Room!
The Data Confirmation Window is currently open. To obtain your child's teacher assignment, parents need to complete the Data Confirmation process and review the Family-Student Handbook. Visit the district's website or go to https://aeries.etiwanda.org/parent.
Teacher assignments will be available using the link on the bottom of the district's homepage according to the following dates:
- July 31st at 4:00 PM for Preschool and TK families
- August 1st at 4:00 PM for Kindergarten - 8th grade families.

We are so excited for Shrey from DCIS as he competes tonight in the final round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee! The finals will be televised today on the ION channel, and we invite everyone to tune in and cheer for Shrey on this prestigious stage. Family Fun Dinner Night - Dog Haus Biergarten - Last lunch/dinner night of the school year. Dog Hous location-Rancho Cucamonga in Victoria Gardens. Thursday, May 16 from 10 AM to 10 PM. Have some burgers and dogs and earn funds for Caryn Elementary.

Caryn Elementary Open House - Tomorrow - Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. This event is for the entire family. Students will show off the work they have done in their classrooms throughout the year. We have a book fair, a lot of good food, and music. Schedule of events: Food, Book Fair & Music-5:30-7:30 PM; Classroom visitations-6:00-7:00 PM. Food for Sale: El Tio Alex (Burrito or taco meals with a drink) - cash only $10 Ea,, River's Edge Ranch (burgers, fries, & drink) cash or card $10 Ea., Brusters Ice Cream, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
